Rent-a-Show AG, Carmenstrasse 12, PO Box, CH-8032 Zurich (hereinafter also “we”, “us”) is pleased about your visit to our website, available at: https://www.swiss-darts-trophy.ch (hereinafter “Website”) and your interest in our products and services. The protection of your personal data is important to us. In this data protection declaration we explain how we collect your personal data, what we do with it, for what purposes and on what legal basis this happens and what rights and claims this entails for you. If necessary, we will inform you of additional processing activities not mentioned in this data protection declaration by means of a timely written notice. In addition, we can inform you separately about the processing of your data, e.g. in declarations of consent, contractual conditions, additional data protection declarations, forms and notices. We use the term “data” here synonymously with “personal data” or “personal data”.

In these cases, we decide on ticket sales, but show tickets is responsible for processing the entire ticket sale.

3. Categories of data we process

​

The processing of your personal data is limited to data necessary for the operation of a functional website and for the provision of our content, functionalities, products and services. We only collect personal data that is necessary to carry out and process our tasks and services or that you provide to us voluntarily. Depending on the reason and purpose of processing, we may process the following personal data:

  • Technical data:When you use our website or other electronic offerings, we may know the IP address and information about the operating system and devices, name and URL of the requested website, the date, region and time of use, GMT time zone difference, notification whether a Call was successful (access status/http status code), amount of data transferred, websites accessed via our website, website from which access is made (so-called referrer URL), the type of browser you use to access use our online offering, if necessary the name of internet providers, type and version of the browser used and other information provided by the user (such as geographical origin, language setting, add-ons used, screen resolution, etc.), protocols that are created in our systems (e.g e.g. the log of user registrations on our website). We generally retain technical data for 24 months.   • Contact details:If you contact us, e.g. via the online contact form provided on the website, we collect the contact details provided by you in this context, including the communication channel (e.g. email address, telephone number, etc.), as well as those online -Contact form requests information about you so that we know who the sender of the form is and how we can get in touch with this person. We also record your request (using a selection menu) and, if necessary, further information that you provide to us in a freely fillable text field provided. We also provide a telephone and electronic (via SMS) service to obtain daily up-to-date information about the upcoming performance. In this case, we may process the mobile phone number you provided.

  • Newsletter:If you register for one of our newsletters on the website, we will also ask for your email address so that we know which newsletter we can send to which email address. To unsubscribe from this service, please use the corresponding link in the respective newsletter that we provide to you.

  • Online services / ticket purchase: All orders, offers or services that you can book on our website can also be placed through our contractual partner, Ticketcorner. Data processing is carried out in accordance with Ticketcorner's data protection regulations and is the responsibility of Ticketcorner, which you should inform yourself about separately. In these cases, after clicking a corresponding button on our website, you will be redirected to the Ticketcorner website.

  • Vouchers: You also have the option of ordering or purchasing vouchers. We provide an e-shop for this purpose and in this context collect information on the voucher amount, the voucher recipient, the voucher creator (voucher giver), the delivery address of the voucher and the payment method. show tickets AG is responsible for processing voucher sales.   • Contract data: We collect contract data in connection with the conclusion or implementation of a contract, e.g. information about the products and the services provided or to be provided, as well as data from the period before the conclusion of the contract, information that is required or used for the implementation of a contract, and Information about feedback (e.g. complaints, satisfaction feedback, etc.). We generally collect this data from you, from contractual partners and from third parties involved in the execution of the contract, but also from third-party sources and from publicly accessible sources. We generally retain this data for 10 years from the last contractual activity, but at least from the end of the contract. This period may be longer if this is necessary for evidentiary reasons or to comply with legal or contractual requirements or for technical reasons.

  • Behavioral and preference data:Depending on our relationship with you, we try to get to know you and better tailor our products, services and offers to you. To do this, we collect and use data about your behavior and preferences that we collect from you, e.g. by collecting and linking the above-mentioned technical data or data that we obtain via cookies, for example about clicking and surfing behavior on the website a specific page or link to the integrated websites of our contractual partners.

  • Other data: We may also collect data about who participates in an event or similar promotions and when. We also collect personal data if you apply for a job with us, which we will inform you about in a separate data protection declaration, or if you would like to find out about other events. The retention period of this data depends on the purpose and is limited to what is necessary; this ranges from a few days to reports of occasions with images that can be kept for a few years or longer. You provide us with many of the data mentioned in this Section III. In principle, you are not obliged to do this, but you must provide us or our contractual partners (e.g. ticket sales outlets) with data as part of your contractual obligation in accordance with the relevant contract so that we can act with you or fulfill your request or claim. In addition, when using our website, the processing of technical data is unavoidable.

4. Purposes of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Communication: We process your data for the purpose of communicating with you, answering inquiries and asserting your rights (Section XI) and to contact you if you have any questions.   • Marketing and relationship management:We process your data for marketing and relationship management purposes. For example, we send personalized newsletters about our products and services. You can object to such marketing activities at any time or revoke your consent (see Section XI). For relationship management purposes, we maintain a customer relationship management system (“CRM”) to provide you with information about products and services offered to you, interactions, interests, marketing activities, newsletters, invitations to events and other information. We also process your data for market research, to improve our services and operations and for product development

  • Security/risk management: We process your data to protect our IT and other infrastructure (e.g. buildings). For example, we process data to monitor, analyze and test our networks and IT infrastructures. We may also use surveillance systems, such as cameras, for security purposes. In such a case, we will inform you separately at the appropriate points. We also process your data as part of our risk management and corporate governance to protect ourselves from criminal or abusive activities.

  • Compliance with Laws:We process your data to comply with legal requirements, e.g., money laundering and terrorist financing, tax obligations, etc. and we may need to request further information from you in order to comply with such requirements or because required by law and authorities is.

  • Corporate management and business development: As we develop our business, we may sell or acquire businesses, parts of businesses or companies to others or enter into partnerships, which may involve sharing and processing data based on your consent.

5. Passing on personal data to third parties and social plug-ins

In connection with our contracts, the website, our services and products, our legal obligations or otherwise to protect our legitimate interests and the other purposes listed in section 0, we also transmit your personal data to third parties, in particular to the following categories of recipients. If we sell or buy a business or assets, we may disclose your information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets to whom we assign or have transferred our rights and obligations.

  • Authorities: We may pass on personal data to offices, courts and other authorities in Switzerland or abroad if we are legally obliged or authorized to do so. The authorities are responsible for processing data about you that they receive from us.

  • Service providers, third parties in connection with activities on our website: We work with service providers at home and abroad who process data about you on our behalf or in joint responsibility with us or who receive data about you from us on their own responsibility (e.g. IT providers, shipping companies, advertising service providers, login service providers, cleaning companies , security companies, banks, insurance companies, telecommunications companies, credit reference agencies, address verification providers, lawyers) or who we commission to process personal data for any of the above purposes on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.

We also enable certain third parties to collect personal data from you on our website and on our occasions on their own responsibility (e.g. media photographers, providers of tools that we have integrated on our website, etc.). To the extent that we are not significantly involved in this data collection, these third parties are solely responsible for it. 7. Third Party Providers and Social Plugins

We use our own tools and third-party services (which may use cookies) on our website, in particular to improve the functionality or content of our website (e.g. integration of videos or maps), to create statistics and to display advertising. We also use social media plug-ins, which are small software modules that establish a connection between your visit to our website and a third-party provider. The social media plug-in tells the third party that you have visited our website and may transmit to the third party cookies that the third party has previously placed on your web browser. Some of the third-party providers we use may be located outside of Switzerland. Information on data disclosure abroad can be found under Section VIII. In terms of data protection law, they are partly “only” our order processors and partly responsible bodies. As mentioned, further information on this can be found in the data protection declarations. The data collected about you in this context will be processed by the platforms and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union, in particular the USA ("third countries"), which may not be appropriate from the perspective of Switzerland or the European Economic Area (EEA). Ensure a level of protection for the processing of personal data in accordance with Swiss/EU standards. Section VIII applies to these cases.

8. Transfer of data abroad

​

We process and store personal data primarily in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), depending on the case - for example through sub-processors of our service providers or in proceedings before foreign courts or authorities - but potentially in any country in the world.

If a recipient of our data transfers is located in a country without adequate data protection, we contractually require the recipient to comply with an adequate level of data protection (for this purpose we use the European Commission's revised standard contractual clauses, which are here: https://eurlex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj? can be accessed, including the additions necessary for Switzerland), unless it is already subject to a legally recognized set of rules to ensure data protection. We can also disclose personal data to a country without adequate data protection without entering into a contract of our own if we can rely on an exception provision to do so. An exception may apply in particular in legal proceedings abroad, but also in cases of overriding public interests or if the execution of a contract that is in your interest requires such disclosure (e.g. if we disclose data to our correspondent law firms), if you have consented , or it is not possible to obtain your consent within a reasonable period of time and the disclosure is necessary to protect your life or physical integrity or that of a third party,  or if it concerns data that you have made generally accessible and you have not objected to the processing of. Most providers have a European branch (e.g. subsidiary), which acts as our contractual partner. According to their own statements, they have an adequate level of data protection, including data transfers to third countries, e.g. by concluding standard contractual clauses with their contractual partners as data recipients or by having certified themselves under the EU-USA Data Privacy Framework.

9. How long we keep your personal information

​

We will only process your data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including compliance with legal retention obligations and, to the extent this is necessary to assert or defend against legal claims, until the end of the respective retention period or until the claims in question have been settled. After the applicable retention period has expired, we will securely destroy your data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

We ask that you contact us in advance (see Section II in order to first find a solution together).

  • Right to object:Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you under certain circumstances, in particular if your data is being processed in the public interest, on the basis of a balance of interests or for direct marketing purposes.

We use cookies on our website and may also allow certain third parties to do so.
